Interactive Sound Installation

‘Map of Emotions’, Interactive Sound Installation, Kaunas Žilinskas Gallery, 2015

Sound Artist: Sandra Kazlauskaite, Electronics: Gediminas Sidlauskas, Architect - Lina Mozuūraite, Illustrators: Arturas ir Justina Sirin

‘Map of Emotions’ is an interactive sound installation which aims to open the children’s multi-dimensional world to those who can no longer be a part of it. Once entered the architectural pavilion structure, the participants are invited to discover the intricacies of the children’s emotional universe: every sound located within the sculpture represents a different emotion that most young people go through during their childhood and adolescence. The active zones can be manipulated through touch - by pressing individual sensors, participants are invited to create their own unique compositions, which consist of harmonies, incidental noise loops, and children’s voices.
